Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a freelance role on a major RC Frame & Groundworks project in Guildford. You will lead on-site construction teams, manage safety and quality, and ensure delivery in line with programme.

The role requires 5–10 years in RC Frame & Groundworks with strong leadership, CSCS/SMSTS, and an Engineering degree preferred. Immediate start for a long-term project with a well-established contractor in the Guildford area.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' experience managing RC Frame and groundworks projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage site teams.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on programme and budget.
• Experience updating progress and 4‑week look‑ahead programmes.
• Engineering degree or equivalent preferred; CSCS card; SMSTS; First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Produce daily site diaries and progress reports.

Project Manager – RC Frame & Groundworks

Duration: 12 Months+
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for a freelance role on a major RC Frame & Groundworks project in Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project with a well-established contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the on-site construction team
• Ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with the construction programme
• Update and maintain the 4-week look-ahead programme
• Produce daily site diaries and progress reports
• Order, schedule, and manage plant, materials, and subcontractors
• Coordinate with engineers, site teams, and clients to ensure successful project delivery
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and productivity on site

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Project Manager on RC Frame & Groundworks projects
• 5–10 years' experience managing reinforced concrete frame and groundworks projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage site teams effectively
• Proven ability to deliver projects in line with programme and budget
• Experience updating project progress and 4-week look-ahead programmes
• Experience managing plant, materials, and site logistics
• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification (preferred)
• Valid CSCS card
• Valid SMSTS certification
• Valid First Aid certificate
