Job summary

AAVantgarde is seeking a Project Manager to join the CMO’s office and drive integrated program plans across Clinical and Medical functions. You will coordinate work-streams, manage risks, prepare forecasting and budgets, and report to the CEO/Board.

This role requires strong leadership, PM discipline, and experience in biopharma/CRO environments. Based in the UK, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders and ensure compliance with the company QMS.

Qualifications

• BSc or higher degree in life sciences.
• Optional: Prince 2 or other PM methodology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee an integrated program plan for Clinical/Medical, aligning with CMO and senior leaders.
• Coordinate multiple work-streams across functions.
• Manage risk and issue logs across programs; follow up on actions and contingencies.
• Support creation of management reports for CEO and Board.
• Lead development of budgets and forecasts.
• Create and present reports for CMO, Finance and Board.
• Own standards, templates and tools used across functions.
• Ensure planning complies with AAVantgarde QMS.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings.

AAVantgarde is a fast-growing clinical-stage biotech company innovating cutting edge research and development to
advance gene therapies for rare diseases. As we expand, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the CMO’s office.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Clinical Strategy and Opoerational Excellence, this is an important role requiring the role holder to work across each function within the Clinical/Medical team to ensure a consistent, integrated program plan that maps out the activities, timelines and budget forecasts. The person fulfilling this role will work closely with all stakeholders in the team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee an integrated program plan for the Clinical/Medical function, primarily working with the CMO, the Senior Director Clinical Strategy and Operational Excellence, plus the VP’s of the various functions and teams within Clinical and Medical
• Coordinate the different work-streams
• Management of the risk and issue logs across programs, following up on mitigating actions, strategies and contingency planning
• Supporting the development of management reports for the CEO / Board
• Lead the development of budgets and forecasts
• Create and present reports, as required by the CMO, Finance and the Board
• Take ownership of standards, templates and tools for functions to work to and with
• All planning must be carried out in compliance with the AAVantgarde QMS
• Facilitation of relevant stakeholder meetings
