Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an electrically qualified Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary facilities-management projects in the Greater London area. You will coordinate design, installation, commissioning and handover of hard-services works, ensuring budget, timescales and quality targets are met.

The role emphasizes FM and M&E project delivery, not IT or software, with requirements for a Board of Trade competency, CSCS card, and a Site Managers Safety course.

Qualifications

• Electrical background with Board of Trade Certificate of Competency.
• Five-day Site Managers Safety course completed.
• Valid CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Manage FM and building-services projects from scoping through to handover.

• Work with clients and contractors to plan delivery and minimise disruption.
• Ensure projects meet specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Manage programmes, budgets and WIP reporting, including commercial insights.
• Collaborate with Commercial team to identify risks and value-engineer solutions.
• Ensure commissioning, inspection and test plans are in place.

About The Role

Working Pattern

4 days from the office, 1 day from home, site visits

We are looking for an electrically qualified Project Manager with experience delivering physical works within facilities management (FM) and building services.

You will manage multidisciplinary FM projects, coordinating design, installation, commissioning and handover while ensuring works meet the required specifications, budgets, timescales and quality standards.

This is a technical project delivery role within Hard Services, not an IT, software or digital transformation position. Candidates must demonstrate relevant FM and M&E project delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage FM and building-services projects from initial scoping through to completion and handover.
• Deliver multidisciplinary works involving electrical, mechanical and associated building services.
• Coordinate design-and-build projects with internal and external design consultants.
• Work closely with clients, operational teams and contractors to plan delivery and minimise disruption to building users.
• Ensure projects meet agreed specifications, quality standards and health and safety requirements.
• Manage project programmes, budgets and commercial reporting, including work in progress (WIP).
• Work with the Commercial team to identify risks, manage changes and develop value-engineering solutions.
• Ensure suitable commissioning, inspection and test plans are in place for all works.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement corrective and preventative actions where required.

Experience & Qualifications

Essential

• Proven experience successfully delivering multidisciplinary projects within facilities management and building services.
• An electrical background with the relevant technical Board of Trade Certificate of Competency.
• Completion of the five-day Site Managers Safety course.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Experience in commercial management and WIP reporting.
• Full driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

• HNC in Construction or Project Management, or a PRINCE2 qualification.
• CDM awareness.
