Description du poste

About the Role

Interested in working for the fastest growing division of CBRE's Local UK business? We're currently recruiting a Project Manager to work across a key healthcare client in London.

As a CBRE Project Manager, you'll turn customer requirements into safely delivered projects, from identifying opportunities and developing proposals through to completion and handover. You'll provide consulting services to your assigned market or client account, helping customers achieve their objectives while taking full responsibility for project profit and loss.

You'll join our Project Management team, which manages projects from initiation through completion. Reporting to the Head of Projects, you'll work with customers, contract teams, designers and subcontractors to build a pipeline of opportunities and deliver projects within agreed budgets and commercial requirements. Occasional travel is required for operational delivery, training and business reviews, with some overnight stays.

What You'll Do
  • Build a short-, medium- and long-term project pipeline through customer relationships, site visits and collaboration with contract teams. Use customer planning information to develop long-term capital expenditure plans, and showcase completed work through case studies and site tours.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to customers and stakeholders, assessing feasibility and translating requirements into clear business cases and scopes of work with developers, designers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare estimates, bids, tenders and proposals, manage customer tender processes and analyse subcontractor submissions against agreed scope, budgets and profit margins.
  • Manage projects from planning through delivery and handover, coordinating day-to-day operations, quantity surveying, subcontractors and site management activities with relevant stakeholders.
  • Take full responsibility for project profit and loss. Manage budgets, commercial terms, agreed payment schedules and applications for payment to protect project and business interests.
  • Lead safe project delivery within Construction (Design and Management) requirements, normally undertaking the principal contractor role. Embed CBRE quality, health, safety and environmental processes, follow project management procedures, and identify, reduce and manage statutory and commercial risks.
  • Secure written customer acceptance in line with project plans and keep project documentation complete, current and appropriately stored.
  • Provide timely monthly reports to the Head of Projects or Business Unit Director, maintaining clear visibility of project delivery and commercial performance.
What You'll Need
  • Proven project management experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, facilities management, construction or a critical environment.
  • Experience developing new project opportunities and creating, presenting and managing bids, tenders and proposals.
  • Proven experience managing profit and loss, alongside demonstrable experience leading a team.
  • Knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) regulations, SMSTS certification, a NEBOSH qualification and a CSCS black card.
  • A recognised technical qualification in construction, mechanical or electrical engineering, or a similar discipline, is desirable. A degree-level qualification in project management, construction management or equivalent is also desirable.
  • APM certification or equivalent, PRINCE2 certification and IOSH training are desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and numeracy skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, motivate others and communicate a clear vision. Bring integrity, self-awareness and a commitment to customer service.
  • An organised, analytical and creative approach, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise complex information in high-pressure, business-critical environments. Work independently, contribute across business activities, navigate stakeholder priorities and challenge existing approaches to improve results.
