Job summary

TXM Recruit, in partnership with a global engineering leader, seeks a Project Manager in Northampton to deliver high-value international projects for the can-making sector. You will lead full project lifecycles, manage client expectations, and coordinate subcontractors and budgets.

The role requires 8+ years in technical or industrial project management, a relevant engineering degree, and preferably PMP or Chartered Engineer status.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years’ experience in technical or industrial project management.
• PMP Certification or Chartered Engineer status (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle – from proposal through to delivery.
• Act as the primary client contact, managing expectations and progress.
• Oversee subcontractors, procurement, and supplier coordination.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with scope, cost, and quality standards.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, identifying growth opportunities.

TXM Recruit are working in partnership with a global engineering leader specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of modular process systems for the can-making industry.

We’re now seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver high-value international projects, working closely with senior leadership and key global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full project lifecycle – from proposal through to delivery


• Act as the primary client contact, managing expectations and progress


• Oversee subcontractors, procurement, and supplier coordination


• Monitor budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful delivery


• Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with scope, cost, and quality standards


• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, identifying growth opportunities

What You’ll Need:

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field


• Proven background in canning production or can-making line projects


• 8+ years’ experience in technical or industrial project management


• Previous roles such as Project Engineer, Resident Construction Engineer, or Coordinator


• PMP Certification or Chartered Engineer status (preferred)


• Strong commercial awareness, leadership, and communication skills


• Confident managing budgets, resources, and global project delivery
