Job summary

GSK is seeking a qualified Project Leader to drive complex, regulated projects at our Barnard Castle site in the UK. You will manage cross-functional teams, maintain detailed project plans, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding safety and compliance standards.

You will engage stakeholders at multiple levels, report progress regularly, and identify opportunities to improve end-to-end processes in collaboration with manufacturing and site teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline or proven project management experience.
• Strong experience managing projects in a complex, regulated or technical environment.
• Demonstrable stakeholder engagement and communication skills across multiple levels.
• Experience producing and maintaining project plans, schedules and status reports.

Preferred Qualification

• Professional project management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent).


• Experience with project tools such as Microsoft Project, Power BI or similar.


• Background in regulated manufacturing, supply chain or life sciences environments.


• Experience with process improvement or operational excellence methods.


• Strong financial awareness with experience managing project budgets.


• Experience leading product transfers, technical or capital projects.

Working arrangement

This role is onsite at Barnard Castle in the UK. You will be expected to work on site regularly to lead the scheduling team and engage with manufacturing and site stakeholders.
