The Vacancy

Wates is seeking a Project Manager to join our Residential team in Cardiff, focusing on high-rise projects in the region. Our Residential division invests in, develops, builds, and sells quality affordable housing, collaborating with Local Authorities, Registered Providers, and public bodies.

About the Role

Our Project Managers are integral to our success. This role involves providing leadership, insight, and direction to ensure the safe and profitable delivery of projects, achieving excellent customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.

As a Project Manager, you will:

  1. Develop and control project budgets, including profit, preliminaries, and procurement, and implement detailed programmes for monitoring progress.
  2. Secure and manage resources effectively to deliver projects within constraints, ensuring professional and efficient execution.
  3. Ensure smooth project handovers and support end-users throughout the process.
