Talent Acquisition Specialist at Applus+

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the operational delivery of inspection services at the Hinkley Point nuclear construction site. This is a pivotal role within a dynamic and high-profile environment, demanding technical expertise, commercial awareness, and strong leadership capabilities. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage all inspection activities at the HPC site in accordance with Applus+ inspection management systems and policies
  • Promote and market inspection services; develop proposals and tender documents to grow business opportunities
  • Serve as the key liaison between clients and Applus+ personnel, ensuring compliance with contracts and timelines
  • Maintain inspection resources and technical capabilities aligned with corporate quality standards
  • Ensure inspections are executed per approved procedures, upholding daily adherence to the quality system
  • Assign and coordinate qualified staff for inspection tasks, providing technical supervision where needed
  • Monitor and maintain the availability of technical support for ongoing and future inspection activities
  • Submit weekly timesheets accurately and on time to support invoicing processes
  • Lead by example in health, safety, and environmental compliance; maintain relevant documentation and procedures
  • Identify quality system non-conformances, initiate corrective/preventative actions, and track resolutions
  • Actively contribute to the NDT management team through participation in meetings and action planning
  • Attend daily radiography coordination meetings, client reviews, and internal project briefings as required
  • Foster a culture of safety and operational excellence among local personnel
  • Perform additional duties in support of business needs as required

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Test, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) sector
  • Proven experience in operations management and client relationship management
  • Strong awareness of radiation safety practices
  • Prior work experience on the Hinkley Point C site
  • Additional NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) certifications
  • Experience managing teams across multiple sites
