Job summary

Entech Technical Solutions is seeking an Interim Project Manager to lead the design, development and production of a complex electronic or mechanical product at a Bournemouth engineering facility. The role is onsite five days a week for an initial 6-month contract with potential extension and requires going through a basic security clearance.

The position is Inside IR35 with a day rate of £500 via Umbrella, and suitable candidates should be able to commute or stay away during the workweek.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering the design, development and manufacture of a complex electronic or mechanical product from concept to production.
• Ability to manage a project from client requirements through to delivery of finished items.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end PM effort for a complex product across design, development and manufacturing phases.
• Coordinate onsite activities in Bournemouth, five days a week, ensuring milestones are met.
• Navigate an Inside IR35 environment and comply with security clearance requirements.

Job description

We are recruiting for an Interim Project Manager to work onsite at an Engineering Manufacturing facility in Bournemouth.

This is a 6 months contract (possibly extended to 12 months) which is Inside IR35 and has a pay rate of £500 per day UMBRELLA.

Applicants must have Project Managed the design, development and manufacturing of a complex Electronic or Mechanical product from start to finish, from the initial stage of defining the client’s requirements through to the delivery of the finished production item.

The role is based onsite in Bournemouth 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, so applicants must be able to commute to the site daily, or be prepared to live away from home and stay in local accommodation during the week.

The company manufacture products for the Defence Industry so the successful applicant will need to go through a basic level security clearance process.
