Job summary

Anord Mardix, a Flex company, is seeking a Project Manager to be based in Blackburn or Kendal, UK. The role involves delivering projects to specification, on time, and within budget, managing multiple projects, and handling changes and reporting.

Travel opportunities are role dependent. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of Project Management experience, proficiency with MS Office and SmartSheet, and eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Project Management experience.
• Ability to work accurately to deadlines in a busy environment.
• Experience with switchgear solutions is advantageous.
• Experience with MS Office and SmartSheet is desirable.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end‑to‑end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centres and other mission‑critical applications.

We are looking for a new Project Manager employee to be based either in Blackburn or Kendal, UK.

What a typical day looks like:

• Deliver Projects to specification, on time, on schedule, in line with the company standards of Quality and Safety and to budget to maximize the profits of the company and understanding of electrical principles and power distribution/generation.
• Manage multiple projects taking full ownership and responsibility.
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to required timescales & cost restrictions.
• Control, monitor and manage assigned projects to include regular reporting against plans & where necessary intervening to ensure a timely delivery.
• Ensure effective, timely & appropriate solutions are developed, communicated & implemented to fulfil the business requirement.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with the client, colleagues and any other associated third party.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Return monthly applications & invoicing to the financial team on time and prepare final accounts with Accounts department.
• Provide concise & accurate reports to the Senior Projects Team Lead as and when required.
• Promote, develop, and always extend any business of the company and in all respects conform to and comply with the proper and reasonable directions and regulations of the company.

The experience/qualification we are looking to add to our team:

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and conscientious with a high standard of attention to detail.
• Must be able to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and pressurised environment, demonstrate flexibility and understand basic electrical principles
• At least 3 years' of Project Management experience
• Technically competent with various software programs, including Microsoft Office and SmartSheet
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Demonstrated experience in switchgear solutions and/or Project Management certification would be advantageous
