A long-established UK manufacturer of safety and environmental monitoring technology is seeking a Project Manager to lead product development initiatives. The company designs and produces innovative hardware solutions used globally to improve workplace safety and reduce environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and project manage new product development (NPD) projects from concept through to product launch
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product Management, and Supply Chain (internal and external)
• Apply Agile, Lean, Kanban, and Scrum methodologies to ensure successful delivery
• Use JIRA and visual project management tools to monitor progress, risks, and communications
• Manage a smooth transition from design to manufacturing, with a focus on electronics-based products
• Drive ongoing improvements in project management processes and outcomes

Candidate Profile

Experience and Skills:

• Proven experience project managing product development (including new products) in a manufacturing environment (3 years minimum experience in a similar role)
• Strong understanding of electronics and hardware development lifecycles
• Proficient with JIRA and other visual project tracking tools
• Excellent communication, planning, and risk management skills

Qualifications:

• HNC or Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent experience
• Agile Practitioner certification or equivalent practical experience
• PRINCE2 or equivalent (Waterfall PM)
