Job Description

This company is seeking a motivated and passionate Project Management Officer to join their manufacturing engineering department. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of projects across the organization.

As the Project Management Officer, your primary focus will be within the wide body manufacturing engineering area. You will play a pivotal role in raising the understanding and acceptance of best practice project management within the teams by coaching, providing awareness sessions, and challenging project leaders where needed.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Management Officer:

1. Ensure projects are supported with strong Project Management expertise and that appropriate Project & Programme Management structure, governance, and practices are applied.
2. Work closely with the manufacturing project leaders and project organization on a day-to-day basis.
3. Shape methods and tools in accordance with PM standards to meet the needs of the project and activities.
4. Support efficient communication and stakeholder management, ensuring activities are aligned with interfacing projects and operations.
5. Promote Agile ways of working and act as Scrum Master for project activities where needed.
6. Establish end-to-end project plans and control all changes versus the initial baseline.
7. Identify associated Earned Value Management (EVM) milestones and project critical paths.
8. Track performance versus plan throughout the project lifecycle and propose preventive/corrective actions.
9. Provide clear and regular reporting throughout all project phases.
10. Drive the Risk & Opportunity Management process in line with the existing R&OM plan.

The ideal candidate for the Project Management Officer role will have:
