We are the Project Management Office (PMO), a key function within Project Management supporting the management of Programmes / Projects through the application of project management processes, methods and tools. We analyse, integrate and provide quantitative and qualitative data to support discussions and decision making at Project Management level. We support effective communication and stakeholder management and have a vital operational role all along the complete lifecycle of the Project.
The department covers Programme Management best practice, Project Control and Support, Project Cost Control, Integrated Planning, Risk and Opportunity Management, Resource Management and Configuration & Data management.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse PMO having interaction with all areas of the business and exposure to all levels of the management hierarchy as well as engaging with internal and external customers and stakeholders. The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) is a major customer, others also include the European Space Agency (ESA) and this provides a real opening for personal growth within a team where learning and development is key to our success.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
GRADES: If you are on predicted grades, your offer will be conditional to achieving the position’s requirements before the apprenticeship start date.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK: Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work in the United Kingdom for the full duration of the programme. For more information, please check the Government Website .
LEVY FUNDING: Successful candidates must be eligible for the levy funding.
