Your new company
Hays are looking to recruit an experienced contractor to join a well-known Bristol-based client for a minimum period of 6 months to help support a major piece of work.


Your new role

• Provide financial oversight and support for a key business project, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Partner with project managers and stakeholders to track project costs, timelines, and deliverables.
• Prepare and present insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Monitor variances and investigate discrepancies, ensuring financial integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with month-end processes, accruals, and reconciliations related to the project.
• Support ad hoc financial tasks and reporting as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in project accounting and/or management accounting roles.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with non-finance stakeholders.
• Available to start at short notice.
