Overview: We seek an experienced Maritime Systems Engineer to lead engineering efforts for sonar systems used by the Royal Navy and allies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Engineering: Oversee product development aligning with project goals.
• Customer Interaction: Represent engineering in customer meetings.
• Hands-on Work: Contribute technically across various levels.
• Team Leadership: Manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Lifecycle Management: Oversee from design to qualification.
• Risk & Issue Management: Handle project risks proactively.
• Engineering Estimation: Provide and review effort estimates.
• Support & Resolution: Resolve issues for in-service products.
• Compliance: Adhere to security, export control, health & safety.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience in Systems Engineering across Software, Electrical, Mechanical disciplines.
• Background in complex product design, maritime or defence background preferred.
• Leadership in managing engineering teams and projects.
• Experience across full product lifecycle.
• Risk and project management expertise.
• Knowledge of Sonar/Maritime is a plus.

Additional Details:

• Hybrid Work: 2-3 days per week on-site in West London.
