Job summary

Protec Fire Solutions ANZ in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced industrialization lead to plan, coordinate and execute product transfer, industrialization and production insourcing projects from feasibility to full-volume production.

You will oversee ramp-ups, optimize layouts, apply Lean Production, manage cross-functional interfaces with QMM, LOG, PUR, and regional engineering, and lead a small team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing/industrialization settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional interfaces.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute product transfer, industrialization, and production insourcing projects from feasibility to full-volume production.
• Plan and oversee manufacturing line ramp-ups, including optimization of layouts and equipment integration.
• Apply Lean Production principles (5S, lean line design, waste reduction) for efficient workflows.
• Manage communication across Quality Management Manufacturing (QMM), Logistics (LOG), Purchasing (PUR), and regional engineering teams.
• Serve as the core connection for industrialization activities within Protec and the Bosch network.
• Lead and mentor a small team of industrialization/transfer engineers and technicians.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with Quality Gates.

• Plan and oversee manufacturing line ramp-ups, including optimization of assembly layouts and equipment integration.
• Apply Lean Production principles (such as 5S, lean line design, and waste reduction) to establish highly efficient and standardized manufacturing workflows.
• Manage and facilitate communication across critical functional interfaces, collaborating closely with Quality Management Manufacturing (QMM), Logistics (LOG), Purchasing (PUR), and regional engineering teams.
• Serve as the core connection point for collaborative industrialization activities between Protec and the broader Bosch manufacturing network.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small, agile team of industrialization/transfer engineers and technicians.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in strict alignment with Protec and Bosch Quality Gates.
