Job summary

Transform Your Training in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Project Lead to provide strategic leadership for the National Careers Adviser CPD Programme, a complex, multi-year initiative supporting careers advisers across England.

You will bring together partners and stakeholders, coordinate cross-workstream activity, ensure delivery against contractual commitments, and maintain responsive, high-quality learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Has programme, contract or project leadership experience within education, training, careers guidance, employability, workforce development, public sector services or a related field.
• Has experience leading complex programmes, projects or contracts involving multiple stakeholders, delivery partners, contributors or workstreams.
• Has experience overseeing quality assurance, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Create the conditions for colleagues, facilitators and partners to deliver an outstanding learning experience across the National Careers Adviser CPD Programme.
• Coordinate activity across multiple programme workstreams, ensuring delivery remains aligned, well organised and focused on agreed outcomes.
• Provide leadership, support and coordination across Project Coordinators, Administrators, Community staff, Module Leads, facilitators and contributors, ensuring consistency and quality across the programme.
• Support learner recruitment, engagement and community participation across the programme.
• Oversee programme quality assurance, learner experience and continuous improvement activity.
• Bring together partners, stakeholders and sector leaders to create strong relationships that support collaboration, shared learning and lasting impact.
• Monitor programme performance, risks, contract requirements and reporting processes, using insight and evidence to support decision:making and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to programme governance, implementation planning and long:term programme development.
• Represent Transform Your Training and the programme at meetings, events, conferences and sector forums.

Transform Your Training works across the UK with charities, public services and corporate organisations to develop and deliver expert, trauma:informed and values:led learning and development services. Through our award:winning Training 4 Influence methodology, we help individuals, teams and organisations turn learning into action, strengthening practice and creating meaningful, lasting change.

We're looking for an experienced Project Lead to provide strategic leadership for our new National Careers Adviser CPD Programme, a complex, multi:year programme supporting careers advisers across England.

The programme will provide specialist professional development across key areas including SEND, mental health, care experience, alternative provision, future skills and working with parents and carers. Through online learning, webinars, Action Learning Sets, conferences and peer learning, it will help careers advisers build confidence, strengthen their practice and improve outcomes for young people, particularly those facing additional barriers to education, employment and opportunity.

As Project Lead, you'll bring together colleagues, facilitators, contributors, partners and stakeholders to create a connected, inclusive and high:quality learning experience. You'll combine strategic oversight with practical leadership, ensuring the programme meets its contractual commitments while remaining responsive to the careers landscape and the needs of advisers and the young people they support.
