Job summary

United Utilities is seeking a visionary Project Information Systems Manager to lead the information ecosystem across our capital programme. You will shape roadmaps, drive innovation and ensure secure, scalable platforms that support successful project delivery.

You will lead a team of Project Information System Administrators, foster collaboration, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across Capital Delivery, Digital Technology and our supply chain.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading specialist technical teams.
• Strong people leadership with inclusive cultures.
• Experience managing performance and change.
• Stakeholder influence across all levels of an organisation.
• Experience managing suppliers and vendor accountability.
• Understanding of project information lifecycle systems and CDMs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Project Information System Administrators.
• Set objectives, support development and empower team members.
• Build strong relationships with project teams, senior leaders and external partners.
• Create a service-led environment with strong SLAs and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure the information ecosystem is intuitive, scalable, secure and compliant.
• Own vendor relationships and drive continual service improvements.
• Translate business needs into practical system enhancements and processes.
• Oversee governance, licensing and access management of systems.
• Monitor usage and value to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Manage risks, issues and controls with improvement plans.
• Assess roadmaps to align with future business needs.
• Champion adoption of new technologies and modern ways of working.
• Lead training and capability development across the organisation.
• Improve integration, BIM adoption and information standards with delivery teams.
