Operations Manager | Recruitment Specialist across Finance and Fintech - International

Join a leading global engineering and technology group, renowned for delivering advanced industrial solutions across multiple sectors, from energy infrastructure to digital systems and automation. As part of their UK Finance Department, you’ll join a dynamic and supportive team working across two sites (UK and France), overseeing complex, multi-million-pound engineering projects. These long-term construction contracts are managed under percentage-of-completion accounting, requiring a proactive and analytical approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and steer financial performance for assigned projects from contract activation to final delivery
• Lead on cost forecasting, margin monitoring, and identifying risks & opportunities in collaboration with project teams
• Drive robust project reviews, including order intake, revenue, cash flow, inventory, and profitability analysis
• Monitor currency exposure and support hedging activity
• Actively contribute to forecasting, monthly closings, and internal audit controls
• Deliver clear variance analysis across revenue, margin, and cash performance
• Partner with operational teams to improve project profitability and flag critical deviations early
• Oversee customer billing schedules and payment follow-up
• Ensure compliance with internal revenue recognition and accounting policies
• Support digital and procedural transformation across finance tools and project control methods

What We’re Looking For:

• A proactive, results-driven finance professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project finance, ideally within engineering, infrastructure, or capital-intensive sectors
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
• Strong Excel proficiency and working knowledge of SAP preferred
