Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Expeditor to monitor and coordinate timely delivery of materials for the EGL1 project. You will work with procurement, logistics, engineering and site teams to identify delays and keep schedules on track.

The role requires proven expeditor or procurement coordination experience in construction/energy sectors, strong communication and ERP proficiency (SAP).

Qualifications

• Experience as Expeditor or Procurement Coordinator within construction or energy sectors.
• Ability to interpret project schedules and identify delivery delays.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier progress against purchase orders and delivery schedules.
• Maintain regular supplier communication to meet milestones.
• Identify delays and implement recovery plans.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, QA/QC, Logistics and Construction teams.
• Track and report status of critical materials and vendor docs.
• Attend supplier meetings and expediting visits.
• Produce weekly and monthly expediting reports.
• Escalate issues affecting schedule or deliveries.
• Maintain records in project procurement systems.
