Job summary

Elgin Energy is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects across the UK and Ireland. You will be embedded with the project team from early development through construction, providing engineering input, feasibility reviews, and technical support.

In this role, you will manage interfaces with contractors and EPCs, review design and technical documentation, and help ensure that projects meet EPC and client requirements, with a focus on PV and BESS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering.
• Industry knowledge of PV development and construction is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering input into feasibility assessments, site selection, and project structuring.
• Complete constructability reviews and identify buildability risks during development.
• Review grid connection documentation and support planning and documentation.
• Coordinate design drawings and constraint maps across development phases.
• Identify and manage technical risks affecting cost, schedule or design deliverability.
