Job summary

Mactech Inspection Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer to support Hinkley Point C's Complex Structural Integrity program within Critical Technical Programmes. You will help develop the stress report strategy and ensure substantiation aligns with the safety case expectations.

The role requires collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams in a highly regulated nuclear setting and involves leading workstreams, tracking actions, and presenting data to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Ideally HPC project experience or EDF Energy exposure.
• Engineering or Science background with an interest in Project Engineering or Project Management.
• Demonstrates effective context leadership and coordination of new topics.
• Prior experience with configuration management.
• Track record of engagement in fast-paced and evolving topics.
• Pragmatic thinker with good listening skills and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Leading one or more workstreams – coordinating delivery with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Tracking actions, minuting meetings, collating data in spreadsheets, preparing presentations, creating Gantt charts and chasing progress.
• Taking on increasing responsibilities as opportunities arise within the project.
