At Babcock, we’re working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as a Project Engineer - Strategic Systems at HMNB Clyde, Devonport Royal Dockyard, or Babcock Technology Centre.

The role

As a Project Engineer - Strategic Systems, you’ll work with the MoD on strategic systems for in-service submarines, influencing change within the business. You will be part of a diverse team within the Submarine Support Engineering (SSE) Directorate, supporting our in-service fleet.

• Provide technical solutions and manage work packages/projects
• Apply engineering knowledge to achieve outputs
• Ensure timely and quality delivery of tasks and outputs
• Support business growth and development
• Maintain high standards of conduct and stakeholder relations

This is a full-time role (35 hours/week) with hybrid working arrangements.

Essential experience

• Understanding of Project Life Cycle management
• Experience in Project Management or Engineering disciplines
• Experience with MS Projects (beneficial)
• Stakeholder management skills
• Systematic approach and problem-solving mindset
