Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer (Mechanical) in Dudley. The role offers a £50,000–£55,000 base salary with overtime (OTE £64k), in-house training, progression to Project Manager within 2 years and 33 days holiday.

You will review customer drawings, coordinate machinery, manage budgets and timescales, and ensure high quality across projects. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with optional overtime paid at 1.5x.

Are you a Project Engineer from a mechanical background, looking for an opportunity to join a thriving company that offers clear routes to progress your career to a project Manager role within 2 years?

On offer is the chance to receive full in-house training within the automotive industry allowing you to upskill your knowledge on industrial refurbishments and repairs on pumps, gearboxes, motors and fans.

You will be responsible for reviewing customer drawings, coordinate machinery, ensure health and safety is followed and hitting project targets. You will be handling budgets, time scales and ensuring that all projects are a high quality.

Established in 2011 this automotive specialist company are looking to expand their workforce by 30% to help remain at the top of their industry. They are looking for Project Engineer to join the team and progress within the company.

This role would suit a Project Engineer from a mechanical background, looking for an opportunity to progress into a Project Manager with plenty of optional overtime.

The Role:
