Job summary

Mitie Group plc is seeking a Project Engineer / Manager to support and deliver tasks and projects at the Sellafield site in Cumbria. Hybrid working is available, with daily site presence required to meet project goals and client requirements.

You will manage execution in line with CDM, SLSPs, and client requirements, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure delivery within scope, budget and time allowances.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of tasks and projects.
• Strong knowledge of CDM regulations, risk management, and health and safety practices.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets, drive value for money, and ensure financial viability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead task/project execution on the Sellafield site, liaising with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure delivery in line with scope, budget, and time allowances
• Develop project scope with clients, manage resources efficiently, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor and manage project progress, risks, change control, and financial performance in collaboration with the commercial team
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, including CDM regulations, PPE usage, and nuclear site procedures
• Record, manage, and resolve project issues, develop programmes and schedules, and provide regular reporting on project performance
