Job summary

Greenhouse Software, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer in Sheffield to support project managers in delivering engineering projects on time, within budget and to specification, while ensuring safety and client satisfaction.

You will coordinate resources, manage suppliers and oversee site activities across planning, engineering, coordination and execution. Responsibilities include initiating new projects, developing programmes, monitoring costs, procuring and selecting suppliers, and liaising

Qualifications

• Proven track record in delivering engineering projects.
• Experience in industrial, Nuclear, Defence or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of engineering standards and design influence.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery – Assist in initiating new projects and define resource needs; support development of project programmes and manage supply chain deliverables.
• Operations & Coordination – Monitor project costs and budgets, manage procurement and supplier selection, liaise with design team to ensure drawings meet specs.
• Site Management – Ensure SHEQ compliance, organise site surveys, subcontractors, plant and equipment, attend client meetings and oversee QA and sign-off of works and invoices.
• Cross functional coordination – Align client expectations, plan resources and logistics, issue H&S documentation, maintain quality standards and report to senior management.
