Job summary

Greenhouse Software, Inc. in Sheffield is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project delivery in the SCX unit. You will coordinate with project managers and cross-functional teams, tracking milestones and resources to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

You will assist in risk tracking, documentation, and reporting while learning from experienced project leaders. This role offers growth in a dynamic engineering environment and a collaborative, process-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of project management principles and tools.

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Technical awareness of engineering or internet/network solutions is desirable.
• Experience in a support/coordination role within engineering, construction, or manufacturing sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans, track milestones, and coordinate resources to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Support clear communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Help identify risks and maintain logs of issues and mitigations, escalating when needed.
• Maintain project documentation, prepare progress reports, and assist in presenting updates to senior management.
• Assist in monitoring deliverables to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
• Support financial tracking by recording expenditures and aiding budget reviews.
• Contribute ideas for improving project workflows and best practices.
• Work closely with engineering, operations, and other departments to promote collaboration.
• Assist in resolving day-to-day project challenges with a proactive mindset.
