Job summary

Veolia is recruiting for an engineering role at VDMS, 5 Park Road, Holmewood, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Salary £34,000 - £40,000 DOE per annum plus benefits and a bonus. Hours: 42.5 per week.

You will deliver projects end-to-end, attend site visits, manage risks, and build strong client relationships while ensuring quality control and clear communications. An on-call rota is required with remote laptop work.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical or electrical services environment.
• Knowledge of improvement techniques.
• Strong health and safety understanding.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are delivered end to end on time and to budget.
• Attend project management calls and site visits with the customer and internal planning team.
• Provide solutions to risks linked to project timeframes.
• Build positive working relationships with the customer and manage external suppliers.
• Oversee quality control and ensure communication documents are error-free for clients.
• Ensure commercial decisions align with Veolia processes.
• Join the on-call rota and coordinate out-of-hours support remotely.
