Flex is seeking a Project Engineer in Kendal to act as the link between Sales, Engineering, Production and Project Management, ensuring customer designs meet high standards. You will provide technical oversight to convert tenders into deliverable designs and support design reviews with engineering teams.

If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications. To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Project Engineer, located in Kendal. As a Project Engineer, you will act as the link between the Sales, Engineering, Production, and Project Management teams. You will provide technical oversight to ensure customer designs and specifications are delivered to the highest standards.

What a typical day looks like:

• Coordination of project technical planning and design with execution.
• Support the sales team during tender submissions by ensuring technical compliance with relevant standards and regulations and providing guidance on specification CDE and technical submittals.
• Work with the electrical and mechanical engineering teams to turn successful tenders into deliverable designs and review those designs to confirm the proposed solution.
• Prepare project‑specific design calculations.
• Communicate at all levels in a clear, concise way to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the manufacturing and production teams during build, assembly, and testing.
• Review O&M manuals and training materials.
• Act as the technical point of contact for live projects, supporting Project Management during vendor calls, on‑site delivery, and commissioning activities as needed.
• Assist RCA reporting through collaboration with the Quality team.
• Reinforce employee training, development, and engagement.
• Complete any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
