Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer (Assembly Tool Design) to join a leading aerospace contractor in the Chester area. You will design assembly tools, jigs and fixtures using Catia V5 from concept through to client delivery, and contribute to multi-project packages on high-value tooling programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience designing assembly tools, jigs and fixtures.
• Proficiency with Catia V5 for tool design and documentation.
• Willing to commute to Chester and work hybrid where required.

Responsibilities

• Create assembly tool concepts using Catia V5.
• Liaise with suppliers and project teams throughout delivery.
• Oversee project delivery from initiation to closure.
• Work hybrid with two days at home and flexible hours.
