Job summary

A leading contractor in the construction sector is seeking a Project Engineer for a 19-month project in Twickenham. The successful candidate will oversee the engineering team on RC frame works, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Responsibilities include managing site engineering tasks, preparing method statements, and working closely with the Project Manager. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience, a CSCS card, and an SMSTS certification. Competitive compensation is offered.

• Ability to prepare method statements, risk assessments and monthly project programs.
• Experience in managing site engineering works and being a point of contact for Site Engineers.

Job description

My client is a leading contractor in the construction sector. We are currently recruiting a Project Engineer to complete a 19month project from start to completion. You will be looking after the engineering team on RC frame.

• Reporting and working with the Project Manager.
• Site set up and compliance with health and safety.
• Raising technical queries and being involved in design coordination.
• To look after site engineering works and be a point of contact for the Site Engineers.
• You will be required to do the initial setting out until the projects evolves and setting out engineers are appointed.
• Look after temporary work design.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessment and monthly program for the project.
• Complete call off for rebar for the project.
• To check rebar details for slab, columns and foundations.
• Complete a hand over each block.
• CSCS card.
• Previous experience as a Project Engineer working on RC Frame projects
• Hold a SMSTS
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Time Served.
