Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a proactive Project Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract at Sizewell B. You will coordinate and deliver mechanical, electrical, and civil projects, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality outcomes on site.

The role focuses on leading multidisciplinary activities, supervising site work, and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing and delivering multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and enforcing H&S standards.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety compliance and management systems.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver multidisciplinary projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate works across site, ensuring schedules and standards are met.
• Validate subcontractor documentation prior to granting site access.
• Supervise daily site activities, promoting a safety-first culture.
• Conduct pre-job briefs and lead setting-to-work processes.
• Review RAMS before work begins.
• Carry out regular spot checks and audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Liaise with operations managers and supervisors to support efficient delivery.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, escalating any Health & Safety concerns promptly.

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team at Sizewell B on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the coordination and execution of a variety of technical projects—ranging across mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines.

You’ll be at the heart of ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality project delivery by working closely with both subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and deliver multidisciplinary projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate works across site, ensuring schedules and standards are met.
