The Project Engineering team within our Asset Management business area provides support services to the Nuclear, Process, Power and Oil & Gas sectors across their whole asset lifecycle. Within this team we have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join us in Renfrew. You would work as part of the team providing a wide range of expertise across the group as well as undertaking work across the wider Asset Management business.
Main duties within this role:
Occasional site based work will form a part of this role as the Project Engineer, you will participate in ensuring delivery of all the engineering, procurement, manufacturing, fabrication and commissioning activities for the life cycle of the contract or work package in accordance with the overall Project schedule. You will ensure planning and delivery is in accordance with all safety, quality, time and cost parameters to meet the needs of the Project. Ideally you will be able to integrate all of the various engineering disciplines, developing an understanding across the project and working closely across the Asset Management and wider Altrad Babcock business.
Your projects will require;
Our new Project Engineer will hold a relevant Engineering degree and or MEng (or working towards one) alongside practical hands on experience in a breadth of relevant industries, ideally including experience in nuclear or manufacturing projects.
A formal project management qualification but not essential.
