Project Engineer

Location: Market Drayton

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Contract: Permanent

Due to an internal promotion, we now have an opening for a Project Engineer at our Yogurts & Desserts business unit, based in Market Drayton.

The purpose of the Project Engineer is to deliver best-in-class engineering projects aligned with the business’s strategic goals, completing projects on time and within budget to high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Participate in continuous system and business improvements, supporting improvement activities across all areas.
2. Maintain awareness of Total Cost of Ownership to deliver appropriate solutions.
3. Control project budgets, ensuring forecast spend is transparent from concept to completion.
4. Coach and mentor site leadership teams, managing minor capital projects end-to-end.
5. Manage adherence to Muller’s project management and investment processes for technical investments.
6. Ensure all project documentation is completed and handed over to relevant teams.
7. Support the wider project team to achieve the business’s OGSM objectives.

Skills & Experience:

1. Project engineering experience, ideally in an FMCG environment.
2. HNC / HND in a relevant subject – essential.
3. Project management qualifications or background.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
5. Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
6. Ability to operate across all levels of the business.
7. Full UK Driving Licence.
