Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Transmission Service Business across the UK & Ireland hub. You will contribute to onshore and offshore projects for blue-chip clients in power transmission, distribution and generation, helping to maximise asset availability and reliability for a secure energy supply.

  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Willingness to travel to sites and customer premises as required.

  • Manage project governance, monitoring, and reporting to track performance and manage information effectively.
  • Oversee stakeholder and communications management, addressing their interests and managing conflicts.
  • Develop and control project budgets, monitoring costs and supporting funding submissions.
  • Manage project scope, including changes, assumptions, and constraints.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure all projects are included in the resource plan.
  • Prepare and maintain schedules aligned with project delivery.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues, contributing to a comprehensive risk management plan.
  • Facilitate procurement processes and contribute to contract management.
  • Develop and implement a quality management plan, ensuring project assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Manage resources effectively, monitoring progress against plans and ensuring commitment acceptance.
