Project Engineer

Kettering (Commutable from: Corby, Wellingborough, Rushden, Northampton, Market Harborough, Rugby & Surrounding areas)

Are you a Mechanical Design/ Project Engineer experienced in AutoCAD or Solidworks, looking for highly varied and autonomous role with an industry leading manufacturer, where you will oversee projects from cradle to grave?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing company, offering the chance to work on bespoke equipment alongside specialist training, allowing you to develop your skills further.

These market leaders design and manufacture high-end equipment products within the waste and recycling industry. They have seen recent growth in the last few years, and as a result they are looking to expand their R&D department.

In this varied role, you will be joining a team of project engineers. You will be responsible for new product development including bespoke customer specifications, as well as improving existing designs, to ensure continuous improvement.

This would suit someone experienced in AutoCAD/ SolidWorks with fabrication, sheet metal or similar knowledge, looking to join a rapidly growing business and work on a range of bespoke projects.

The Role:

• New product development & improving existing designs.
• Working on bespoke, customer specifications.
• Fully site based.

The Person:

• Experienced in AutoCAD or Solidworks.
• Mechanical, Fabrication, Sheet metal, Structural design experience desirable.
• Commutable to Kettering.
