Wood Process & Energy is recruiting a Project Engineer to support the delivery of engineering excellence in their assigned project(s)on a staff basis.

Hybrid Working - working from home and some days a week expected in our Glasgow office.

You will be required to coordinate and deliver the engineering for an assigned project scope to a schedule and in accordance with applicable procedures, specifications, and standards.

Who we are looking for:

• Understands and knows how to apply the procedures and work practices that define and govern Project Engineering deliverables
• Understands the importance of Project Engineering deliverables and the need for accuracy and timely issue
• Fully conversant with project scopes and work carried out by all engineering disciplines and various interface and inter-discipline coordination requirements among the various disciplinesincluding procurement and construction
• Commercially astute and aware of the importance of Change control
• Has a good knowledge of engineering standards, procedures, and work practices; follows
  project execution flow chart; develops skills in project and technical execution
• Able to lead a small team; develops skills of leadership with minimum intervention from the manager
• CDM experience is a preference
• Experience gained either as a discipline engineer in a project environment or in more junior project engineering roles
• Good understanding of technical work scope, key dates, and milestones
• Completely familiar with project contractual and commercial requirements
• Understands the concept of customer satisfaction and can deliver to internal customers, including other Engineering disciplines
• Good Negotiation and Presentation skills
• Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing, and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems
