Job description

We specialise in temporary structural element projects (Formwork and Falsework) for the Construction industry covering Structural and Civil sectors. Due to expansion, we require an experienced Project Engineer to manage temporary structural element projects from concept through to completion. You can be based at our offices in Burton-On-Trent or Oldham. This is a great opportunity to make a significant impact on high-profile infrastructure projects across the UK.

Basic Salary:

Up to A£50,000 (dependant on experience)

Project Engineer, Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer - Temporary Works, Formwork, Falsework

Role Overview:

We need an experienced Project Engineer to lead the technical delivery of temporary works designs on high-profile infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead temporary works designs from concept to completion, especially formwork and falsework systems (various materials)
• Review and produce technical drawings to a high standard
• Produce and verify structural calculations
• Collaborate with site teams, subcontractors, and designers
• Mentor and guide junior Engineers
• Maintain strong documentation, compliance, and quality control standards

Person Specification:

Ideal candidates will have a background in temporary structural elements projects, civil and/or structural engineering, and a relevant degree. Knowledge of temporary works procedures and safety standards (e.g., BS5975) is essential. Chartered Engineer status (ICE or IStructE) or working towards it is preferred.
