We are looking for a personable self-starter who maintains a positive professional attitude, enjoys collaborative work across disciplines, and can handle pressure, varied workloads, and tight deadlines while ensuring technical excellence.

Primary Objective

Manage large multidisciplinary teams on substations for critical projects, support business growth through sales and development activities, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and profitably.

Responsibilities

1. Project Management: Take full responsibility for project performance across disciplines, ensuring technical accuracy, quality, and commercial targets.
2. Financial Performance: Review project costs and profits monthly, prepare quarterly reports, and manage invoicing and debt collection.
3. Sales & Business Development: Maintain client relationships, lead project presentations, manage third-party disciplines, and pursue sales opportunities.
4. General Duties: Control resources, ensure compliance and quality, meet deadlines, manage scope changes, and support project delivery and team development.

Skills and Experience

• BEng, MSc, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of technical design experience, preferably with high voltage substations up to 765kV.
• Experience in project management and monitoring contract staff or third-party appointments.
• Proficiency in MS Office, project management software, and design analysis tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Chartered status or pursuing it is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 15 years of related experience, including at least 7 years in project management.
• Experience with MS Office, MS Project, and leadership in business development.
