Job summary

Prince Personnel Limited is seeking a Project Design Engineer in the Telford area for a permanent role. The position involves delivering detailed 2D/3D designs, creating technical drawings and BOMs, and supporting projects from concept through release.

You will work with SolidWorks and CAD software on varied projects, liaising with internal teams and customers to meet requirements. Hybrid working is offered with a competitive salary up to around £40,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Design Engineer, Project Engineer, CAD Engineer or similar engineering design role.
• Proficient in SolidWorks to produce detailed designs.
• Experience with fabrications such as steelwork, sheet metal or modular assemblies.
• Ability to manage projects and coordinate multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks and CAD software
• Developing engineered solutions for bespoke security and caging projects
• Creating technical drawings, specifications, bills of materials and production documentation
• Managing the design aspects of multiple projects simultaneously
• Collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements
