Project Design Engineer

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Kirkland Associates are seeking a Project Design Engineer to join their clients Engineering team who are a Tier 1 supplier in the Automotive industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on varied projects from the initial customer enquiry through to site installation. You will have a flexible approach to working due to the projects undertaken with a genuine enthusiasm to assist colleagues in other departments.

Project Design Engineer - The role

Produce designs for customers using SolidWorks

Conduct site surveys

Produce parts list & Bill of Materials (BOM)

Work closely with the workshop during the fabrication process

Project Design Engineer - The candidate

Proficient in the use of SolidWorks or similar software

Confident to engage with customers by phone and on site

Willingness to work away when necessary including abroad

Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm to assist other colleagues when required
