Job summary

develop is seeking a Project Deployment Co-ordinator to support the rollout of cyber security capabilities across approximately 12 manufacturing sites in Scotland. The role will work closely with Project Managers, sites, OT/Engineering teams, suppliers and technical resources to ensure deployments are planned, coordinated and delivered on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, supply chain, engineering, OT or industrial environments.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple sites and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with stage-gated project methodologies and live deployment environments.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with detailed site implementation and deployment plans.
• Coordinate deployment dates, site contacts, access requirements, suppliers, resources and implementation windows.
• Maintain deployment trackers covering milestones, dependencies, owners and readiness status.
• Coordinate site visits, implementation workshops and deployment calls.
• Manage site logistics including access, inductions, equipment movements and engineer attendance.
• Liaise with production teams to understand windows, shutdowns, safety requirements and change controls.
• Maintain site readiness checklists and drive prerequisites to completion.
• Provide updates on progress, risks, blockers and readiness to Project Managers.

We are supporting a major OT Cyber Security transformation programme across a multi-site FMCG manufacturing environment, backed by approximately US$10m of investment during FY27.

As the programme moves into a significant deployment phase, we are looking for a Project Deployment Co-ordinator to support the rollout of cyber security capabilities across approximately 12 manufacturing sites.

You will work closely with Project Managers, manufacturing sites, Engineering/OT teams, suppliers and technical resources to make sure deployments are planned, coordinated and delivered successfully.

This is a highly practical role for someone who enjoys being close to delivery and is experienced in coordinating multi-site technology, engineering, manufacturing or operational deployments.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support Project Managers with detailed site implementation and deployment plans.
• Coordinate deployment dates, site contacts, access requirements, suppliers, resources and implementation windows.
• Maintain deployment trackers covering milestones, dependencies, owners and readiness status.
• Coordinate site visits, implementation workshops and deployment calls.
• Manage practical site logistics including access, inductions, equipment movements and engineer attendance.
• Work closely with manufacturing sites to understand production windows, shutdowns, safety requirements and local change controls.
• Maintain site readiness checklists and drive outstanding prerequisites to completion.
• Coordinate activity between Engineering/OT, D&T, suppliers, technical teams, Change, Test and Service Introduction.
• Track supplier engineers, technical actions and implementation dependencies.
• Support testing, cutover planning, go-live activity and implementation communications.
• Maintain live action and issue tracking during deployment windows.
• Coordinate post-deployment actions, defects and handover activities.
• Ensure as-built documentation, implementation evidence and site records are captured.
• Capture lessons learned from each deployment and feed these into subsequent rollout waves.
• Provide Project Managers with clear updates on deployment progress, risks, blockers and readiness.

What We're Looking For

• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, supply chain, engineering, OT or industrial environments.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Experience managing multiple sites, activities, dates, dependencies and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Comfortable coordinating suppliers, engineers, technical teams and operational stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project/deployment trackers.
• Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working within structured project governance.
• Experience delivering multi-site or global technology rollouts.
• Experience working within live manufacturing environments.
• Exposure to OT, infrastructure or cyber security deployments.
• Experience with network, remote access, infrastructure or site technology deployments.
• Experience working with engineering or operational technology teams.
• Familiarity with PACE or other stage-gated project methodologies.

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, practical and delivery-focused.

You don't need to be a Cyber Security specialist. You need to understand how projects actually get deployed into real manufacturing environments, where production schedules, safety, site access and operational continuity all matter.

You will be the person making sure that the right people, equipment, access, information and approvals are in place at the right time.

The role profile specifically highlights the need for someone who is operationally aware and understands production windows, safety and site constraints.

Location

Scotland preferred, with hybrid working and regular travel to manufacturing sites across Scotland.

UK-based remote candidates will also be considered where they can travel to site as required.
