Project Delivery Manager
An established engineering company based in Herford, specializing in noise and vibration control equipment for the construction and build environment industries across the UK and Europe, is seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager due to growth.
Role Overview:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the project delivery team, including Project Managers and support staff, to achieve operational excellence.
- Manage efficient project delivery processes, ensuring consistency and continuous improvement.
- Drive strategic planning and risk management to mitigate challenges and enhance delivery outcomes.
- Conduct performance reviews and support professional development.
- Manage the full project lifecycle from contract award to completion, ensuring seamless execution.
- Oversee project financials, resource allocation, and cost controls to maintain profitability.
- Monitor project KPIs and report insights to the Head of Projects.
- Ensure compliance with H&S, quality, and statutory regulations, adhering to industry best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Address escalations proactively and resolve project risks and issues.
- Promote innovation and efficiency within project delivery to support company growth.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years' project management experience in the construction industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ, degree, SMSTS/IOSH training, and CSCS Manager Card.
- UK driving license and willingness to travel abroad with occasional overnight stays.
- Growth mindset and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organization and time management abilities.
Remuneration & Benefits:
- Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum.
