Job summary

Search Beyond Limited is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to manage bespoke technical projects from handover through production and final delivery in the manufacturing and construction sectors.

You will coordinate multiple live projects, create plans and Gantt charts, monitor deadlines and risks, review drawings, and keep customers, suppliers and internal teams on track. A UK driving licence and experience in technical environments are required.

Qualifications

• Project coordination or project management experience.
• Background in manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, construction or a similar technical environment.
• Confidence reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong planning, problem-solving and commercial awareness.
• Experience managing several projects and competing deadlines.
• Good Excel skills, including creating and using formulas.
• Experience producing project programmes, timelines or Gantt charts.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A relevant technical or project qualification would be beneficial, but strong practical experience is equally valuable.
• You'll be organised, analytical and confident enough to ask questions, challenge information and hold your own when priorities shift.
• This is not a progress-chasing administration role.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple live projects from handover to completion
• Creating project plans, programmes, Gantt charts and trackers
• Monitoring deadlines, dependencies, risks and outstanding actions
• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and project information
• Coordinating customer approvals, suppliers, production and logistics
• Tracking materials, manufacturing progress, quality and delivery dates
• Identifying potential delays and resolving problems before they escape
• Monitoring variations, costs and the impact of changes
• Keeping customers informed throughout delivery
