About The Role & Team

As a Project Coordinator, you will work within the Borders SITA Portfolio and support the Technology and Engineering (T&E) Program Manager. The role involves a mixture of project management skills and administrative tasks to support the Program Manager in assisting the T&E department.

This role offers valuable learning opportunities. The T&E Program Manager will support and mentor you to develop your skills and advance your career.

The role can be tailored to your interests and capabilities, allowing you to take on responsibilities as you grow.

What You’ll Do
  1. Support the T&E PMO function to track delivery
  2. Prepare and present status reports on software delivery to stakeholders
  3. Provide administrative support to T&E software development teams
  4. Assist in raising purchase orders for T&E
  5. Communicate daily with Product and Delivery teams outside of T&E
  6. Assist in financial tracking against T&E budgets
  7. Document customer project requirements
  8. Coordinate T&E recruitment processes
  9. Track timesheet bookings for T&E resources
  10. Monitor T&E departmental Key Performance Indicators
  11. Support delivery of internal T&E projects
  12. Assist in the administration and delivery of strategic projects
Qualifications
About Your Skills
  1. 1-2 years of experience in a similar role with some involvement in project delivery
  2. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams) and familiarity with MS Project
  3. Experience working collaboratively towards common goals
  4. Honesty and transparency
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including status reporting
  6. Confidence in communicating with colleagues to seek clarification and challenge ideas
  7. Good decision-making skills for quick escalation of concerns
  8. Ability to work under pressure and reliably complete tasks
  9. Self-reflection and willingness to improve
  10. Openness to voicing opinions and making recommendations for process improvements
Nice-to-Have
  1. University degree or equivalent experience
  2. Formal project management training and certification (PMP preferred)
  3. Experience in a technical PMO environment
  4. Knowledge of Azure DevOps
  5. Financial experience in budget tracking
  6. Experience in risk and issue management
