• Use Logikal to price, process and generate fabrication and ordering information.
• Coordinate multiple fabrication projects from order through installation.
• Keep projects on time and within budget, resolving issues early.
• Liaise with aluminium system houses on spec, availability and pricing.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers and respond to queries.
• Ensure estimates match fabrication requirements with design/production teams.
• Identify cost‑effective alternatives where applicable.
• Ensure work meets client specs, industry standards and regulations.

Project Coordinator / Glazing Estimator (Logikal)

(Commercial Glazing / Aluminium Systems)

Salary: £30,000 -£40,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role:

An established commercial glazing and aluminium systems fabricator is recruiting an experienced Glazing Estimator / Project Coordinator. The role combines detailed quoting for windows, doors, curtain walling and façade systems with project coordination of live fabrication jobs from order placement through to installation. Logikal software experience is essential.

The successful candidate will work closely with aluminium system houses, customers, and the project, design and production teams to deliver accurate quotes and keep multiple projects on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed quotes and cost estimates for windows, doors, curtain walling and façade systems.
• Prepare material take-offs from architectural drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Use Logikal to price, process and generate fabrication and ordering information.
• Coordinate multiple fabrication projects simultaneously, from order placement through to final installation.
• Keep projects on time, within budget and to quality standards, resolving issues before they elevate.
• Liaise with aluminium system houses on specification, availability and pricing of components.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with customers and respond promptly to queries.
• Work with project, design and production teams so that estimates match fabrication requirements.
• Identify cost-effective alternatives where applicable.
• Ensure work meets client specifications, industry standards and relevant regulations.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Logikal proficiency for estimating and processing.
• Proven experience as an Estimator and/or Processor in the commercial glazing industry.
• Knowledge of aluminium glazing systems and façade products (e.g. curtain walling, windows, doors).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
• Experience managing multiple projects or orders at the same time.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in quoting and documentation.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable:

• Experience across a range of aluminium systems, such as Aluprof, Kawneer, Smarts, Reynaers and Jack Aluminium.
• Familiarity with UK building regulations and façade industry standards
