Job summary

Intertek Metoc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Coordinator to support delivery across offshore wind, subsea cable, wave and tidal energy, water and oil & gas sectors.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Finance teams, consultants and clients to ensure projects are delivered to agreed budgets, timescales and quality standards, using a methodical, numbers-driven approach and strong communication. This role offers a collaborative environment and global opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support financial management: workbook updates, tracking, invoices, timesheets.
• Update project programmes.
• Track actions and follow up as needed.
• Provide back-up support to Business Support Team during busy periods.

You are a highly organised and detail-focused individual who enjoys bringing people, information and processes together to keep projects moving. You will have strong communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues, clients and senior stakeholders, building positive working relationships across a multidisciplinary team. You are comfortable working with numbers, managing project administration and using Microsoft Office, with a methodical approach and a strong sense of ownership for delivering accurate, high-quality work.

• Excellent attention to detail and a sense of ownership over your work

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an exciting opportunity to join Intertek Metoc and play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects across critical sectors including offshore wind, subsea cable, wave and tidal energy, water and oil & gas. As Project Coordinator, you will work closely with Project Managers, Finance teams, consultants and clients, providing essential technical, financial and operational coordination to ensure projects are delivered to agreed budgets, timescales and quality standards.

Key activities:

• Work with clients to understand their needs and coordinate appropriate responses
• Act as the link between Project Managers and the Finance team, handling key administrative tasks
• Support financial management of projects, including workbook updates, financial tracking, finance spreadsheets, cost-to-complete information, consultant timesheets, purchase orders, and payment applications
• Update project programmes
• Track actions and follow up as needed
• Provide back-up support to our Business Support Team during busy periods / absences.
