Job Description

Our PMO Midlands team is expanding its Controls community. We seek passionate and ambitious candidates across all professional, senior professional, and managerial levels to support early careers, grow into leadership roles, and foster our values of bringing out the best in everyone.

With regional growth including new major programmes, projects, and clients, we are looking for flexible Planning and Scheduling, Performance Reporting, and Risk Management professionals to deliver services across the Midlands. Travel within the region may be required. This role offers exposure to diverse sectors such as Power, Water, Rail, Mass Transit, Local Authority, and Shipyards, providing opportunities to apply your expertise in bespoke client solutions and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of our Project Controls team on high-profile infrastructure projects, providing performance reporting and analysis support.
• Develop work breakdown structures and performance baselines with cost and planning engineers.
• Establish progress and cost monitoring methods.
• Produce project control reports and provide performance analysis and recommendations.
• Previous experience in a project controls environment within sectors like Energy, Defence, Rail, Airports, Highways, Water/Utilities is required.
• Experience in Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, or PMO is preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree with some experience in project control.
• Experience managing projects or programmes, with responsibility for delivery or controls.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Power BI, Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong time management, communication, and technical skills.
