Job Description:

Our PMO Bristol Southwest team is expanding its Controls community. We seek passionate candidates across all professional, senior, and managerial levels to support early careers, grow into leadership roles, and contribute to our communities of practice, emphasizing our value of Bringing out the best in Everyone.

With regional growth including new Major Programmes, Projects, and Clients, we are looking for flexible Planning and Scheduling / Performance Reporting / Risk Management professionals to deliver services locally. Travel within the South West may be required based on project needs. This role offers exposure to diverse sectors such as Water, Rail, Mass Transit, Local Authority, and Shipyards, allowing you to use your expertise to provide bespoke solutions and enhance your professional development with support from our network.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Tailoring reporting processes to client needs and aligning with best practices.
  2. Delivering performance and reporting management plans based on project requirements.
  3. Promoting the benefits of Performance Reporting & Analytics within project teams.
  4. Implementing and maintaining reporting systems to track project controls performance.
  5. Establishing a robust Performance Measurement Baseline with project teams.
  6. Rolling out reporting calendars for consistent data delivery and analysis.
  7. Working with project controls to define data requirements and support digital systems.
  8. Leading development and maintenance of corporate datasets.
  9. Providing guidance on data quality issues.
  10. Preparing governance materials for projects and programs.
  11. Identifying performance recovery strategies for stakeholders.
  12. Supporting development of KPIs and performance measures.
  13. Creating project performance reports and dashboards with recommendations.
  14. Leading presentation preparations for governance forums.
  15. Contributing to communities of practice in performance & reporting.
  16. Training team members on reporting processes.

Qualifications include experience in a project environment, understanding of project controls, data analysis skills, and familiarity with software tools like Primavera P6 and Power BI.
