Job title: Project Controls Officer

Location: Isle of Grain – Rochester – Onsite

Duration: 12 months

Our client, an energy infrastructure company, is seeking a Project Controls Officer. This role is within the Oil & Gas, Energy, and Construction industries, based in Rochester, for a 12-month contract inside IR35.

Role:

As a Project Controls Officer, you will work with the wider Project Controls team to ensure departmental deliverables are prepared on time and communicated clearly, such as the Project Management Plan.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and maintaining SharePoint and Power BI dashboards, change control, and risk management.
• Developing and delivering core functions within the Engineering & Construction department.
• Governance reporting, including compiling key datasets, performance indicators, and metrics.
• Planning and schedule development within a multi-project environment, analyzing and reporting on key metrics from integrated programmes (Primavera and MS Project).

Requirements:

• Degree in a STEM subject is desirable.
• Experience in Project Controls within construction or utilities sectors.
• Industry experience in UK Gas, LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or related fields.
• Good understanding of Project Controls functions like cost, change, risk, and planning.
